| Eastbourne Operational Support |
The Eastbourne unit originally started as Fire Police in 1968, however switched over to Operational Support when the Fire Service introduced the role in the 90's. Members may respond on the Eastbourne appliances when necessary, otherwise drive to incidents in their own vehicles. The Eastbourne Operational Support unit covers the entire Eastbourne fire district which spans from Baring Head to York Bay.
