| Manaia Fire Police |
The Manaia Fire Police have been operating for about the last 32 years, and currently have five members. They have a very well equipped response vehicle that carrys alot of equipment that is needed for the callouts they attend. This includes a generator, lights, cones, shovels, hand tools, and handheld radios. The unit also have a trailer that they can tow which has extra hoses on board for hard to reach fires. This enables the Fire Police unit to assist the brigade when necessary.
