| Tokoroa Fire Police |
The Tokoroa Fire Police unit covers one of the worst stretches of State Highway 1 for motor vehicle accidents in the country. The Tokoroa brigade and Fire Police back up Mangakino to all major incidents. The unit currently turns out to around half of the 250 calls the Brigade gets each year.
