Wellington Fire Service
Support Unit |
The Wellington Support unit is currently the only Fire Service volunteers in Wellington city, and has a history of serving the region since 1899. As well as assisting fire crews with a number of duties at major incidents, the unit also performs salvage as its primary role. The unit has two crews available for calls (Green and Blue watch) and members respond from either Kilbirnie or City stations.
