| Wellsford Fire Police |
The Wellsford Fire Police are the most northern based unit in the Auckland Fire Region. Being rurally based, they attend a variety of calls whilst assisting other Brigade members. A majority of calls are MVA's in what is rapidly becoming an ever dangerous stretch of State Highway 1 called the Dome Valley. Most of these calls are co-joint with Warkworth Brigade from the South. The unit utilises Wellsford 9533, a full co-responder vehicle, and also has a trailer equipped with extra traffic control equipment and soon to be fitted with its own lighting system.
